Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actress soon after her move to the United States. From 2013 to 2016, she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She rose to fame due to her appearances in TV commercials. Apart from her commercial appearances, she was a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Also, she was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot television series for New Warriors. Vayntrub, was a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were two years old, immigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. The financial struggles of her family resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She was able to get the GED and then obtained an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
